Definition of Acne
Acne is defined as skin diseases characterized by the retention of the secretion of the sebaceous glands and an inflammatory disorders and infectious type suffered by these glands.
Types and Symptoms of Acne
Acne Vulgaris
It is a skin condition that affects young people and children from oily skin and seborrheic, with particular predilection for the face and upper chest and back.
The skin lesions may be of different types:
Red or purple spots.
Nodules.
Pustules with yellow tip.
Plates that extend to acquire the level of small abscesses.
Acne follicular
Inflammation of the hair follicles, also known as folliculitis.
The follicle appears as a small inflamed pustules pierced in the center by the hair. When you launch it, get a thick creamy pus. When this type of acne cure forms a crust that fall may leave a scar dug into the skin. If the pustules are numerous skin is as pock-marked. ”
Acne rosacea
This type of acne is characterized by manifest itself in the nose and cheeks, while in the forehead and chin appear more rarely.
The symptoms of acne rosacea is characterized by the presence of pustules of varying size: some closed and yellow tips (for the internal pus), other open with pus flowing and covered with a yellowish crust.
It’s called “pink” by the fact that the appearance of the pustules is preceded and accompanied by a dilation of blood vessels in the area concerned, resulting in a typical reddish purple coloration.
This condition can become chronic closed pustules open side by side.
The causes of acne rosacea often associated with digestive or gastrointestinal disorders (constipation, dyspepsia, etc..) Or in disorders of ovarian function in women, as this type of acne is usually found in women around menopause.
