Risks of Radiation to Pregnancy
Increased risk of cancer
The radiation exposure before birth may increase the risk that the person will develop cancer later in life.
Unborn babies are particularly sensitive to the effects of radiation to cause cancer.
However, this increased risk depends on the amount of radiation to which the baby was exposed and the duration of that exposure. For example, if the radiation dose received by the baby was roughly equivalent to 500 chest X-rays taken at the same time, increased risk of developing cancer later in life will be less than 2% (above the average risk of developing cancer over the course of life is 40 to 50%). Radiation and Pregnancy: Prenatal Exposure to Radiation

Common Causes of Secondary Amenorrhea

Article By Bond Mejeh
Common Causes of Secondary Amenorrhea - The more common form of secondary amenorrhea is amenorrhea. Possible causes include:
* Pregnancy – the most common of all causes. When women are of reproductive age will most likely be the cause. When a fertilized egg implanted into her uterus wall, keep lining the fetus grows and does not shed through menstruation.
* Contraception – oral contraceptive pill can prevent periods. If a woman uses contraceptives suddenly stops, probably three to six months before he was back to normal ovulation and menstruation. Injected or implanted contraceptives (ie, Depo-Provera or Implanon), also can cause amenorrhea. Progesterone-containing contraceptive device (eg Mirena) may also prevent periods.

Some tips for healthy eating during pregnancy
I am six months pregnant and I confess that I eat more than ever. And not only hunger, there is also a little anxiety in the subject, and why not, a little flexibility now that I must not treat my belt each month.

Pregnancy
But, as we have commented on other occasions, this is not a matter of adding up pounds for each month of pregnancy so it is too fat we can put at risk our health. To know that we must follow a type of diet during pregnancy, we must take into account some data.
From the second half of pregnancy you need them between 250-300 extra calories to provide energy for the body, paying attention to the type of nutrients. It is as though it increases a small portion of food it is possible to fulfill these requests. Simply increasing the quantity of milk and cereal, and not in great quantity. This may be 1 curd, 1 cup of skim milk and 4 fingers of bread. Each of these foods makes a little over 300 calories. Once, if you want to maintain a healthy weight you forget (to our chagrin) to eat two!
Something that really helps is to eat between 5 and 6 for daily food and ingest less food by food and then not to overload the stomach. In this way we feel most gratified day without eating.
Also as in every moment of life, during pregnancy it is important to follow a balanced diet. The large difference in diet during pregnancy is that it must be careful to ingest diets rich in dairy products, cereals, vegetables and foods with carbohydrates.
